One Sixty Restaurant Review

London, 09-10-2014

As we venture north of the river to West Hampstead we are excited to experience the Smokehouse food offering of One Sixty.

Owner , David Moore, has decided to go in an alternative direction to from the classical French of his other restaurants, which include Pied a terre and L’autre Pied.

One Sixty takes its name from the optimum temperature for slow cooking and it must be said, the meat is cooked very well.

The restaurant has a casual feel, the space holds around 45 covers, with a variety of long sharing tables to the exterior and tables of two to the dining area.

The restaurant is certainly inviting, with its simplistic décor and industrial approach to both the restaurant space and to the food service (we were given a two hours slot).

The corten steel wall cladding and distressed wallpaper emphasises the industrial look and feel to the restaurant space.

We would recommend One Sixty for its focus on the minimal menu - and one which should be enjoyed getting stuck into with ones hands and lots of paper towels!
