As part of The Arhictect: What Now? exhibition that ran from 9-13th August, architects Gundry and Ducker designed a ‘pop-up-pub’ in the Crypt of a Marylebone church that served as a bar on the opening night and as a reception area for the rest of the exhibition.
Its simple cardboard shell was decorated with 1:1 CAD drawings of wallpaper, art, windows with architecture related views and all the other little details that make up a typical English pub.
The illustrated aesthetic was complimented by a simple trestle table that served as the bar and a minimalist chandelier made of wood.
